Ohhh I long to go camping...

Thursday, January 22, 2009, 8:28 AM
This winter seems so long.  One of my favorite summertime activities is camping with our friends.  They live in Indy, so we have a favorite camping spot that is about 1/2 way for each of us. I love the feel of excitement that rushes through me when we pull up to the campsite.  There are so many wonderful things about camping, starting with friends, and ending with food, drinks & campfires.  Mmmmm campground breakfast is the best.  But we wouldn't dare go camping without certain campers getting their Smores....This is dedicated to those patiently waiting campers....

Better late then never....

Wednesday, January 21, 2009, 8:05 AM

This was such a fast project.  I had to do a quick gift for a Christmas party I went to in December.  I was able to put this together in about 1.5 hours, can you imagine how much cutier it would be if I would not have waited till 2 hours before I had to be at the party.  I thought you should see how quick you can put together an entire 8x8 album using some chalk, versa mark ink, and stamps.  I just found the pictures and thought I would share it.  It is too late for Christmas, but there are plenty of other occasions to come this year that you can do this technique with.

Day Three Blog Special
        Friday, January 09, 2009

Ok, so I didn't get an actual vacation this year, so this is my way of pretending I did.  I am using all of today's supplies, to daydream.  Yep, I am not actually scrapping these pages (well not the majority of them - but the mini album of course I will scrap in).  I am creating one of those visionary boards. What the heck it can't hurt right! I am going to do a travel visionary board, where I dream about going and what I intend to do when I get there.  I have always wanted to go to one of those all inclusive resort and play on one of those life size game boards. I know kinda hokey, but can't help it...

So today's special is all about traveling... If you got to take a trip somewhere this year, then this is a great way to get those memories recorded.  If you didn't welcome to the visionary board...:D

So here is today's deal:

  • Dee Gruenig's border stamp set.
  • Single pattern papers:
  • 6 different awe cute pattern papers.  If you ever had the privilege of using Aw Cute papers you can appreciate the quality and the out of the box attitude that shines through on them.  These were my all time favorite papers - sadly it is hard to find them now.  Just for fun we threw in a 2 different SEI pattern papers, and 2 different ATD papers. That's a total of 10 different papers.
  • Double pattern papers:
  • 4 pattern papers (2 different designs) of Best Creations (love it) most of their papers are double sided, but one side usually has some bling to it and these papers are no exception to the rule. These Glitter papers have more bling than my jewelry box. Paisley and Splats to add even more character to our geo collection.
  • Then we have the cool Moxxie pattern papers.  The colors in these are incredible.  I could think of a ton of uses for these (did I mention these are double sided too). We included 2 bliss and 2 stripes for a total of 4 papers.
  • Transparencies:
  • Yep, couldn't put together this package without 2 different zany Best Creations transparencies. These will put a giggle in your day.
  • For embellishments we let you choose between Queen and Company uppercase chipboard letters, or friends.  Don't be afraid of your chipboard, we are having a blast with it.  Especially if you lay out the letters and stamp across them with your new stamp set and then coat them with color crystal lacquer (LOVE that look).  We have samples of this technique in the gallery or email me if you have questions.

Wednesday, January 07, 2009,

Wooohooo... This is a blast. I love having specials.  Ok today's special is.... wait for it...drum roll please....

  • This box of goodies includes:
  • 6 pieces (3 different patterns) of double sided 12x12 best creations paper.  Believe me when I tell you that you will have trouble deciding which side of the paper to use. If you have not had the pleasure of using Best Creations paper yet, then you are in for a real treat.  2 of the patterns are glistening with glitter all over, and the 3rd pattern paper has traces of felt in all the right places.  I love Best Creations Paper. Ohhh and did I mention it is a nice thick paper as well.
  • 2 transparencies that just scream PARTY...
  • Let's talk embellishments you will receive 1 box of Queen and Company birthday chipboard to decorate as you like (see the samples I am posting).  There are 68 pieces of chipboard in this bad boy that include shapes and letters. 3 balloon stitch acrylics are floatin your way too.
  • Wouldn't be a package without some stamps, so we got ya covered.  We have included Dee Gruenig's Happy Birthday stamp set.  Of course that is mounted on EZ Mount with self-cling so you can use it on any acrylic block. I see the concern in your eyes, of course we have included a SBI Birthday Bash Stamp for you (makes great invitations too).  The SBI Birthday Bash Stamp is not just the most adorable birthday kid stamp ever (ok so I am a little partial to them), but they too are EZ Mount with self-cling.
  • Just for fun, so you can share your birthday excitement with someone else in your life we included a mini scrapbook kit from American Traditional Designs.  This little mini album has everything you need to complete a great memory including ribbons, buttons and embellishments.
  • The End..... :D
Blog Special of the Day

Happy New Year Everyone.....

Monday, January 05, 2009, 3:05 PM
Wow, New Years came in full speed! I have so much to tell you all I don't know where to start.  I know it has been ages since I have sent out a newsletter, and well it is going to be just a little longer.  We have several things in the works for 2009. Soooo, keep your eyes peeled for that newsletter because when it hits your inbox you are going to feel your computer shake with excitement.

Newsletter sneak peak:
(I am a terrible secret keeper - so I will just tell you a little). We have a new Clothing and Gift SBI Product Line the link is on the website. We also have some serious specials coming.  We will be mailing those out as we get them. We are going to start clearing out some of our scrapbook stuff, so watch for some great deals. We have added another division to our company besides scrapbook, rubber stamp and gift supplies but I cannot tell you about that just yet.  It is very exciting though.

Anyway, I have to go add some more clothes and gifts to the website. See ya later....

PS:  I will be updating the website events this week too...

Can you believe it....

Tuesday, December 16, 2008, 9:40 PM

2 days in a row I have blogged. Woohoo.  I am even going to try to get a newsletter out today - what ya gotta say about that... :D

I need to tell you about Ronda over at Beyond Scrapbooks.  She is doing the cutest page kits with our SBI Paper Piece Kids.  If you love these adorable kids, but you are not a stamper, check out here website and see what she has going on.  We embellish and assemble the paper piecings for you, no fuss - no muss just a great look.

www.beyondscrapbooks.com

Check out her version of the SBI Chef in Training kids kit, you will love it.  I also love the Birthday Kit she has that features our SBI Birthday Bash kid.... :D

Today Example is a just a simple technique used to do a quick scrapbook album for another last min. gift.  We used another border from the Posh Line (Oh yes, you bet we sell these check out the rubber stamp section).  All you do is ink up your stamp with a versa mark and go over the stamped image on your cardstock with Pebbles Chalk (of course we sell this it is in the tools of the trade section)... :D Try it, you will be totally amazed at how fast you can make an entire album. Talk about cost effective, you get a bunch of different borders in these sets and you can make several different albums using each of the borders.... BONUS you get to give the mini albums as gifts, and keep the stamp sets for yourself (these are secretly my favorite types of gifts to give - what!!! I like to give and receive... :D

One more thing I love about doing these quick stamp albums is that I can do the background pages quick and simple and then spend any additional time I have on embellishing.... (which is of course my favorite). A few versions might be to do each page spread with a different border from the set but the same color chalk, or different color chalk for each page spread and the same border.

For an extra umph - I added some clear crystal lacquer over the top of the swirls.

Do it quick.....

Monday, December 15, 2008, 9:32 PM

You too can make this album in under an hour and a half.  What a great last min. gift idea.  We also had a die-cut title (not shown in this picture) that said "Cookin Up Fun"...

I know it has been so long...

Friday, December 12, 2008, 2:15 PM
Since I have updated the blog.  October and November seemed to fly by, we were on the road all the time.  So here it is 15 days into December and I am finally catching up on everything and managed to get jury duty in too....

I wanted to get this really cute scrapbook page posted for you to see.  We used the border stamp from Posh (Dee's stamp company).  But even better than that is how doggone cute our SBI Chef Stamp Kid looks on this page.

PS:  I made an entire album like this in under an hour and a half.  Ok, I did take a few shortcuts like using index cards for the recipe instead of doing the dotted line around cardstock.  I used liquid applique for the batter instead of stencil paste.

End of the Blues...

Wednesday, November 05, 2008, 9:53 PM

Well it looks like our email blues are over. Seems like everything is back in working order. Yeahhhhh..... It's been a quiet week around here, just  working on some new display ideas, and getting ready for Mt. Clemens this weekend.  Hoping to get a new scrapbook page finished and posted soon.  I have a few I just need to finish up.
Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 10:36 AM

Tuesday, October 21, 2008, 4:48 PM
Ft. Wayne was a blast.  We met so many nice people both customers and vendors. If you haven't attended an Heirloom Productions event you have to check it out, they really know how to have fun.  A huge thanks to everyone that entertained us and shopped with us this weekend. We had a riot at the Make-N-Take Roundtable on Friday night and can't wait to do it again.  Thanks to everyone that came that night.

Count on us to be there next year.

PS:  If you are a vendor and reading this blog, check into doing the Heirloom Shows they are incredible people to work with.... (not to mention fun).... :D

PSS:  As promised here is a picture of the MNT we did, in case you want to reference it.  The Lil' St. Nick Santa Claus stamp went over so well it was nice to see Santa so loved....
  • Products Used:
  • Lil' St. Nick Stamp
  • (used on the fiskars stamp press instead of acrylic block)
  • Snowflake embossing folder (we have that email me to purchase).
  • Sakura Glitter Pens (to color packages)
  • Package embossing folder (comes free with the cuttlebug machine).
  • Color Lil' St. Nick with red marker.
  • Use white liquid applique for beard and mustache, and trim on coat and boats.
  • Use brown liquid applique for his/her hair.

Lil St. Nick wants to Blog....

Tuesday, October 14, 2008, 3:17 PM

We have been working on some Lil' St. Nick Christmas Cards for an upcoming event and for our sample board.  They are soooooo cute we decided that they need their own blog spot.  So let us introduce to you the cute little kids that will be giving Santa Clause a run for his most adored spot....
Straight from the North Pole (well the North anyway).... Lil' St. Nick

The second Lil' St. Nick card will be featured in the Blog next week (he has to go to a stamp show in Ft. Wayne, Indiana  to make his appearance there first).
  • Lil' St. Nick Stamp: by Scrapbookers Buzz SBI Kidz.
  • Background Paper: by Moxxie (we have  it of    course).
  • The red cardstock is torn around the edges and we ran it through the Cuttlebug using the Snow Dots embossing folder. Then highlighted with Sakura Silver Glitter Pen (wish you could see the beautiful glistening of that in the picture).
  • The HoHoHo paper is the backside of the Moxxie Santa paper. HoHoHo is embellished with our white liquid applique as are the edges of the paper to serve as a trim.  Then the believe in Santa is dotted using the Sakura Silver Glitter Pen again.
  • For a bonus (and because you know how I can't control my liquid applique habit) I had to cover the little Santa Face on the background paper with white liquid applique.

If you are Looking for a Good Time.....

You found it....

Ohhhh I haven't told you yet have I.... Well, lucky thing you read the blog and you can get the details early..... Mark November 28th on your calendar because Scrapbookers Buzz is hosting a crop in Taylor.  The crop and game proceeds will go to benefit Breast Cancer.  So let's fill the room.  The entire day and into the night will be yours to play from 10am to 10pm. We will be doing FREE make-n-takes as usual, and in the spirit of the old Scrapbookers Buzz bus tours, we will be reviving some of our old games. Stock up on quarters to bring for the fundraising auction.... :D.  I will be posting next week on the type of swaps we will be doing, but it should be a blast. I will also be adding a link to purchase Early Bird Crop Tickets.... What a Blast. Well we may not have a bus, but we are still gonna have a Blast!

One More thing (I'm full of it today)... (hey information that is)..

Monday, October 06, 2008, 2:51 PM

Wanted to let you know in the next few weeks you will also be seeing some really cool videos posted here.  Thanks to our producer Kat Popowicz we now have some videos to post using the products you can find in our store.  You are going to get a kick out of these.... I was at a different show out of state when these were done, so Karen did the MNT and Mom (Joan) did the narrating (Karen had lost her voice).  I just wanted to say they did a AWESOME job, and I appreciate the effort they all put into this.  Thanks for getting these taken care of while I was on the road, my SBI Team Rocks.....

SBI Kidz going big time...

Monday, October 06, 2008, 2:50 PM

Wow time flies.....

Monday, October 06, 2008, 2:27 PM

Well well well, here I am in a sweatshirt (yuk).... What the heck happened to summer... You know what this means don't you... Now it's going to get cold so we will be forced to stay inside which leaves you no choice but to Scrap (yeahhhhhh), and shop the website, and go to crops, and have an "At home with SBI" party... what!!!! SBI at home.... Yep! It's true, when it's too cold to leave home, we will bring the fun to you.  In the next few weeks you will see some changes around here.  Our famous MNT's are going on the road.  You will love the new catalog and all the ideas and suggestions for the products that come with it.  The grand opening for "At home with SBI" is set to coincide with our FIRST EVER BREAST CANCER BENEFIT. We are going to host a crop to raise funds for Breast Cancer and in exchange you are asked to donate just a mere $10.00 (all of which will be donated).  In exchange for your donation, you will get to come crop the night away.  Of course we will have our store setup at the show in case you need anything.  We will be doing free hourly make-n-takes as well.  This will be a very simple crop with nothing more in mind then getting you out for a good time, while raising a little money for Breast Cancer.....

The Grand Opening for "At home with SBI" with take place that night as well.  We will have our new catalogs there, and will tell you all the great things you will receive just for hosting a party...

Go ahead say it....

"But Teresa so many of my friends don't scrap".....

AaaHaa! No need to worry about that we have those friends covered too.  In addition to offering a catalog full of the products you know and love (or will soon come to know and love) we will be offering a line of Pre-made scrapbooks for those who choose not to scrap.  They will love having you share your scrappin and stampin passion with them, and you will love being able to finally get them involved.

Ok, hold your horses.... I know you want to know when you can schedule a party and when the crop will be. Well standby. I will be announcing the date, time and place very soon.  But you know me, I don't like to give you all the answers at one time I like to keep you coming back..... Otherwise, this whole article is for nothing and nobody would be reading it right now, but you are so hang tight.  By the end of this week I hope to have all the details wrapped up for the Charity Crop.

A few things to look forward to at the crop.....
1.  Free MNT during the event.
2.  Onsite store.
3.  Just a small donation to get in.
4.  A schedule of all available dates to book an "At home with SBI" party.
5.  A few games that I will clue you in on between now and then.

ewwwww it;s gonna be funnnnnn....

Never Never Never Ever Again......ever...

This week with SBI

Tuesday, August 19, 2008, 2:13 PM

Sold Out - We have sold out of the SBI Shopper while we were in Novi this week. Don't panic there are more on the way. whewww....

Wow what a great time we had at the Heirloom Stamp Show in Novi this week.  I must admit it was nice to drive home and sleep in my own bed after a show for a change.  We met some really nice customers and vendors, and cannot wait to do another of their shows.

Karen has been hard at work putting together lots of new card samples.  Mom is on break (re-doing a room in her house). I am starting to get some time to put together some scrapbook page samples using some of our stamp collections.

We have a new line of stamps we are getting ready to send off to be manufactured.  I am excited to release these.

Well I better get back to the "Wild Child" scrapbook page I am working on.  This one has been fun I am using crackle paint, and a few of our favorite stamps, and sets. I will post it in the gallery as soon as I am done.

I have also recently put together an Easter page and a Dressed for Success page.  Nothing fancy, but I think they are cute none the less. It doesn't always have to scream wooohoo.... (i keep telling myself that).... sometime simple is better.

So watch the gallery in the next few days I will get the new samples of cards, and scrap pages posted.

BTW: Watch for a newsletter to come out soon, with some really fun games... (uhh huhhh not signed up for the news letter huh -hurry run don't walk to sign up for the newsletter - you will want to be a part of the game).

Star Struck!

Wednesday, July 23, 2008, 6:32 PM
Were back from CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) summer retailer show.  Wowwwwww.... do they have some fun new stuff coming out on the market. We cannot wait to share what we ordered with all of you.  While we were there we placed orders for all kinds of new tools, papers, and products. We had such a great time.  Mom, Karen and I all went.  We knew you were counting on us to see and learn everything that we could to bring exciting new stuff to you this year.  So just because we like you all so much, we got up and shopped every day. Yep, everyday.  It was a big sacrifice (wink wink), but we think your worth it......

Ok we are all pretty exhausted, not to mention sore, but who could tell with all the excitement and adrenalin we had.

Here is my favorite part.  We were fortunate enough to meet several "celebs".  We met Claudine Hellmuth, Tim Holtz, Suze Weinberg, and Mom met a few others I was not privy too (I was placing orders - someone had to work).. :D  Anyway, here is my favorite part.  My Mom never likes her picture taken, but I walked by the Ranger booth and there she was standing elbow to elbow with the one and only Tim Holtz.  She was so cute, I stood next to her for a second and she leaned over and with a huge grin said take my picture next to Tim Holtz.  :D bahhhhhbaahhhhaaa.... it was too funny.  My Mom doesn't get star struck, but Tim Holtz is pretty talented.... :D

So I thought I would post the picture here for you all to enjoy.

Ok now, let's get down to business.  We learned some new techniques we will be sharing with you and we have lots of ideas for new MNT's and projects.  Not sure when our orders will be rolling in,  but I will keep you updated as they do.

Keep an eye out on the website, we will be updating the store as merchandise comes in.

Well I better get back to updating the website gallery pictures.  Speaking of which, the SBI design team will be getting together this weekend, creating some more pictures for the gallery.

Too funny....

Thursday, June 26, 2008, 3:42 PM

Ok there is nothing like subjecting yourself to a little humiliation.  It is amazing how much pride you can swallow for your business.

So I needed a demo on how to use the Masquepen.  I learned alot, and this first video is not so great, but it is a start.  I am already working on another video to demo it, especially since I have an idea of what worked and what didn't.....

Take a look at it, no fan mail please... :D

On another note, we are going to be showing up at some stamp shows this fall.  As soon as I get my approvals, I will post them on the website under "Events".

Hope everyone is having a fantastic summer so far..... take lots of pictures and this fall we will get busy scrappin them.

Yeahhh May...... is over... whew

Tuesday, June 03, 2008, 11:02 PM

Well, I know I should not wish my life away, but man am I glad May is over...... That was a little busier than I even expected.....

I am taking a little time off, just giving myself a little breathing time for a week or two, and then I will be updating the website.

I am going to call June my creative month..... I am going to focus on getting some new techniques and new projects going, and then updating the website with all the new things I learn.

I'll let you in on a little secret.... I am soooo excited to get the chance to sit down at a table with all my fun tools, and play for a while..... ohhhh I can hardly wait.

I'll get back to you soon, and let you know how it's going.

Holy Cow...

Friday, May 16, 2008, 5:47 PM

Has it really been this long since I have posted here? I can't believe how fast time goes by when you are on the road......

It has been busy, but the summer is looking like it might give us some rest... :( or :) not sure how I feel about that yet.

Well if you haven't been around in a while you might not know that we have switched our SBI Kidz paper piecing's to SBI Kidz Stamps, and WOW! they are being lovingly purchased by many of you.  We have slowly started to veer over to stamping products.  Don't freak out yet, we are still carrying scrapbooking merchandise, and we will still be doing scrapbook shows, but we are adding in some stamp shows, and many more stamping products....

We have always showed you how to use products from the stamping world, and it seems like we just keep adding to it.  We thought maybe it would be a good time to break into the stamp world.

I hope you are all signed up and getting the newsletters, because there are going to be lots of new special (some killer deals) going out in the newsletter.  Pay close attention to them, there are some hidden prize entries in the newsletters too.

It was great to see so many of you at Mega Meet.  We have been so blessed to meet so many wonderful women, and love to be able to catch up on what's happening with you all.

One more thing to add, before I go clean my office (yukkkkk).  If you have used some of our stamps, or have used some of our products and would like to share your project or layout, just email me a picture and I will post it in our gallery.  We love to brag for you (since most of you are too humble to do it yourself).

Ok, well I guess I gotta go clean, so I will touch base again soon in the newsletter and here on our website.

On the road again....

Friday, April 25, 2008, 10:58 AM

Well I haven't updated in a while, we have been on the road alot lately visiting scrappers - here, there and everywhere.....

It will be nice having events close to home the next couple of weeks.

Mom and Karen have been working really hard getting the new make-n-takes ready to showcase the new Masquepen Product. This is so much fun to use.  I really like some of the things we are discovering to use it for.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:

I just wanted to say it has been great to see so many familiar faces, and see friends we haven't seen in a while, and friends we see often.... Scrappers are such awesome people.....

PS:  Robin we wish you all the best on your move and we hope to see you in VA next year....

We have Company....... woohhooo

Monday, March 31, 2008, 8:21 PM

That's right, we have company here in the SBI design studio. It's not just anybody either, we are lucky to have a very creative and talented designer who will be assisting us with our SBI Make-N-Takes, as well as  our product examples.

Welcome Aboard Karen Trometer, we hope you are as happy to be here as we are to have you.... :D

By the way, Karen is a Michigan resident.  So here is some more exciting news, she has agreed to come help us at the Make-N-Take booth during Mega Meet.......Come by and say hi...... :D

Yes! Mom will be there too. (so no need to email me about Mom, I know she has a lot of loyal fans out there... :D)

New products for Mega Meet.....

Monday, March 31, 2008, 8:47 PM

I cannot wait for Mega Meet. I know we have some really cool crops before that, but we have been spending so much time working on new Make-N-Takes to go with the new products we will be showing off at Mega Meet, that it has almost become an obsession for us.

I promise to focus the rest of this week on the April Crops we have comin up.  I will be in TN with Beyond Scrapbooks next week. I am really lookin forward to hangin out with Ronda, we always have a good time, and brainstorm tons when we are together. So I hope Mom and Karen are up for more new MNT ideas when I get home.... :D.

Have you signed up for Camp Yet? Don't forget to get signed up for Camp Copneconic, that is going to be a blast.

Googled....! Don't google yourself, you will probably regret it.

Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 10:54 AM

Well I was looking for some people this morning and couldn't find them so I decided to google them.... :D When I did I was surprised to find that these people did not just pop right up. Instead I ended up with a bunch of people with the same name that had nothing to do with the people I was looking for.... So yes, I couldn't resist I had to google myself (oh stop I know you have done it too)... Anyway, here comes the kicker when I googled my name I found in the first few things that popped up one of them was a lady with my name that is looking at serving 10 yrs in prison.  Uggghhhh! So then I did what any of you would have done I panicked! What if people are looking me up after a scrapbook show and see this article. ahhh... So I hope people aren't googling my name and finding this lady, and if they are I hope they are reading this so I can set them straight..

Paperwork Blues - Leads to creativity....

Monday, February 25, 2008, 9:17 PM

Oh how I hate doing all this paperwork. I am so bad at keeping organized and I always end up spending so much time at the end of the year doing this junk. Then I promise myself I will be better next year (haha).  Now here is the sunny side of the story.... Apparently when I am working mindlessly sorting through receipts and putting piles of papers together my subconscious is thinking of some new scrapbook ideas to try (Honestly I think it is just looking for an escape route). Anyway, it worked. So I had to leave my paper work and run to my craft table. Low and Behold some really cool and really fun stuff started to pour out of me (I think my subconscious was keeping me creating so it wouldn't go back to the paperwork) some fun new mnt ideas are coming together..... So I know what your saying to yourself right now "Is there a point to this story"..... Hmmm nope not really just didn't want to go back to my paperwork...... Sleep well everyone. :D

This week in the life and times of SBI

Tuesday, February 19, 2008, 8:19 PM

Well as things start to wind down a bit from the last few reallllly busy weeks, we are going to start updating the website.  We are going to continue to add tricks, tips & ideas, to help you continue to use all the fun stuff you purchase from us.  We will also be putting the store back online.  Last but not least, we are going to start listing some of our personal scrapbook items in the garage sale here on Scrapbookers Buzz.  Be patient with us while we start this process.

Just a reminder, we are always reachable via email if you can't find an answer on the website...... :D

I'm going to rest up now.  We had a blast in Virginia but it wore us out..... 1,000 croppers/students  and over 800 make-n-takes in one weekend will do that to ya. Really got to send out a HUGEEEE THANKS to MOM (Joan) she was awesome this weekend and never missed a beat. She really rocked!

Scrapbowl was a BLAST!

Mom (Joan) and I just wanted to thank all of our new friends in Virginia for showing us such an awesome time. What a great group of women.  We didn't just have great weather while we were there, we had great scrappers to.  We had a blast with you all, and are hoping to be asked back next year.

Waldenwoods - Ahhhhh...

We always have such a great time with our Waldenwoods croppers.  Thanks for another wonderful year.

We are hoping to see you all around at some other events, so we don't have to wait a whole year...... :D

What's been going on.....

Tuesday, February 05, 2008, 6:32 PM

Well hello there...... Glad you could stop by. I know it has been a while since I last updated, so here I go....

First things first - we have been asked by alot of our new show and crop friends to get the store back up and online. Ok we will have the store back in action by the end of this week.

Ok now onto some other cool stuff. We have been having a blast..... 2008 is starting off to be so much fun for us. Mom and I were at the Taylor Great Scrapbook Event show this month and wanted to send out a special THANK YOU to everyone that helped with the show and working in our booth. Without you we would have been going nuts.... So THANKS, Thanks, thanks....

We just finished our favorite crop of the year at Waldenwoods. We have such a great time there. The crowd is awesome and just as enthusiastic as Mom and I about learning new techniques.... :D

We get a few brief days at home and then it's off to Scrapbowl in Virginia.....

So that's about it this week.  Ohhhhh before I sign off, I wanted to tell you after the store gets up this week, I will start work on the new tips and tricks part of the website. Have a great rest of this week.....

These are a few of my favorite things.....

Monday, October 29, 2007, 8:33 PM

Well what should we talk about? I know lets talk about scrapbooking crops. No let's talk about scrapbook shows. No let's talk about cool scrapbook products, yeahhhh! Let's do that. So what's your favorite scrapbook product. It could be anything, paper, stickers, trimmers, adhesive, stamps, whatever you seem to fancy right now....

Lately mine is liquid applique.  I seem to be stuck on that alot now. We started using liquid applique on Christmas Tree die cuts for our Make-N-Take at shows, and I just haven't been able to stop lookin for uses for it. At the November show coming up we are going to be doing 4 different Make-N-Takes.  Joan (aka/Mom) will be on one side of the booth doing her 2 and I will be on the other side doing the 2 I come up with..... I can't wait for this show. I get to sit and play with my favorite things all day.  I'm curious to see what she is going to be doing too....

So what do you think? What's your favorite scrapbook product (at this moment anyway).... :D

psst... I did the hair on these SBI Kidz paper piecing's with liquid applique...... :D wooohooo.

Your turn..... Go ahead.... Don't be shy... Tell us...
Well this program is telling me that a blog can be anything I want it to be. So far it doesn't look like chocolate. So what is this blog stuff all about. I didn't really want to do it, but all the cool kidz are so here I am trying to find my place in the blogging world.
